Yoga Teacher
Lenny Checchio
Lenny was first exposed to yoga in 2007 as a member of the Colgate University Men’s Lacrosse team. After years away from the mat, he was drawn back to yoga to complement rehabilitation and strength training following a number of injuries. In addition to the physical benefits he connected deeply with the more subtle aspects of yoga. Having had a regular meditation practice and study for many years prior, he was instantly hooked.
Eager to develop a daily personal practice, he completed Yoga on Main’s 200 Hour Inner Fire Yoga Certification with Shiva Das in 2021. Experiencing the full depth of yoga beyond the physical postures, he was inspired to share and teach right away.
He furthered his studies by completing a 300 Hour Bhakti Yoga Immersion Certification under Raghunath Das at Govardhan Ecovillage in India in 2023.
His practice incorporates intentional movement and connection with the breath to balance energy and take students to deeper levels of awareness of the body, breath, mind, and spirit. He is enthusiastic about integrating the teachings and practices from all paths of yoga into his classes and loves to share kirtan at any opportunity he can get.

Yoga Teacher
Ian DeMenna
Ian DeMenna (He/Him/His) currently works predominantly in emergency medicine, splitting his week between Chester County Hospital ED and Good Fellowship Ambulance.
“Finding calm within the noise” has been the overarching goal of Ian’s practice, and furthering that end has cultivated a very methodically introspective practice with a deep emphasis on the breath and pacing of one’s thoughts.
Ian began regularly practicing yoga in 2016 at Eat Drink Om here in West Chester, and two years later took his 200hr at the Sivananda Ranch and Yoga Ashram in Woodbourne, NY.
Ian earned a B.Sc. in Nutrition Dietetics from West Chester University and is working on classes towards a nursing degree. During his time at WCU he coached the competitive rock climbing team, and still occasionally helps out at Downingtown Rock Gym.
Ian has been working to enable first responders and EMS to augment healing personal/professional traumas through compassionate mindfulness and meditative movement though the lens of yoga.
When not slinging bandaids, Ian spends his time training for ultra distance runs and mountain climbing or meeting up with friends to play dungeons and dragons!

Kate discovered yoga in 2007, and the practice has since played a vital role in her recovery from a life-threatening eating disorder. Her initial quest for a sweaty workout evolved into a practice of appreciating and caring for her body after many years at war with it. She completed her 200-hour teacher training program at The Light Within Yoga in 2014 and her 300-hour training with My Vinyasa Practice in 2022. Through her teaching, Kate strives to share the power of breath and movement in healing and strengthening from the inside out. In addition to yoga, Kate adores indoor cycling, books, music, and animals of all kinds.
Yoga Teacher & Craniosacral Therapist
Stu Snyder
Stu’s yoga journey began as the only male student in a class at a fitness gym, fueled by motivation like “You ladies are doing amazing!” and “Everyone looks great except one and he knows who he is.” Beneath this surface inspiration, Stu found a deep resonance with the one-breath one-movement nature of the practice and immediately felt connected to yoga.
Teacher training (200 & 500) opened a broad understanding beyond the postures, but it was in airplane pose - visualizing the yogic sages from 4,000 years ago imitating aircraft from their Himalayan caves - where the deep truth of yoga was revealed to him.
Stu’s practice focuses on the spirit of yoga; cultivating happiness in our day-to-day life. Yogic philosophy, positive psychology, and Eastern energy theories are woven through your asana sequence. You can truly expect to take the practice off the mat and with you through your day.
Stu also practices Craniosacral Therapy at Inward Bound. Learn more here.

Yoga Teacher & Pranic Healer
Leah Whyte
Leah Whyte spent nearly 15 years in Relationship and Project Management roles at an investment firm prior to becoming a yoga teacher. Along with completing several yoga teacher training programs, she pursued mindfulness studies through the Penn Program for Mindfulness. She is a certified Pranic Healer and Reiki practitioner.
Inward Bound was formed by Leah and her twin sister, Jamie Cappelletti, in 2023. This venture began with an idea to offer mindfulness trainings to elementary school students.
Together, Leah and Jamie created a kid-centered curriculum which they offer through both after school clubs and summer camps. The studio came to them a little while later, as a space to offer both yoga classes and Pranic Healing to the community.
Leah enjoys holding space for anyone interested in yoga. Her teachings weave in opening the heart to lead life with love, honoring wherever you are in your life’s journey and connecting with deeper aspects of the Self. She encourages building an awareness of oneself in order to avoid injury. She also focuses on proper alignment and special considerations for those with hyper mobility who may be prone to joint injury.
